Delete it yourself, from the app

This is the fastest way and it takes effect immediately.

• Open Lumi on the phone
• Go to Settings
• Tap About Lumi
• Tap Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm

Ask us to delete it instead

If you cannot reach the phone — it was lost, or the person who owned it has died — email bowman@getlumicare.com from any address and tell us the pairing code or the phone number of the device. We will confirm before deleting anything, and we will complete the request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to the account is removed from our systems:

• The account itself and the sign-in behind it
• Name and profile details
• Trusted contacts and saved places
• Medications and the health log
• Reminders
• Location history and the last known location
• SOS history
• Blocked scam calls and messages, and the blocked-number list
• The pairing code, and every family supporter connected by it

What we keep, and for how long

Two things do not disappear with the account, and we would rather say so plainly:

• Purchase records. Payments are handled by Google Play, not by us. Google keeps its own billing records, and tax law requires us to retain proof of sale. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription — cancel that in the Google Play Store.
• Anonymous, aggregated counts such as the total number of scam messages blocked across all users. These carry no name, phone number, message content or device identifier, and cannot be traced back to a person.

Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis and any residual copy is gone within 30 days.

The companion messaging app

Lumi Line stores its data on the phone rather than on our servers. Uninstalling it removes that data with it. Deleting your Lumi account does not uninstall it.
